This year will be remembered for many things, when it comes to real estate 2021 was highlighted by the eagerness with which potential buyers searched for their next dream home. Our exclusive list of 2021’s most viewed properties on Australia’s most popular property platform realestate.com.au. revealed the sky was the limit for prospective house hunters.
Luxury properties that combined location, size and a spectacular lifestyle to boot topped the list.
“The most viewed properties list this year is a little unusual but is reflective of the shift in the type and location of sought-after properties during the pandemic,” said Executive Manager of Economic Research at realestate.com.au, Cameron Kusher.
“The suburbs and homes that make the top 10 list are not entirely dominated by highly popular areas and harbourside properties located in the inner city, which you might expect. “They are properties somewhat further away from the city centre and not necessarily harbour or beachside either.
“While the list boasts impressive properties, it is different to the types of locations and properties that would typically receive the highest number of views.”
